Choose being cooped up in a deadline-weekend-long hiatus in an arctic office, the pressures of the daily grind, only to be remedied by a friendly sweet voice on the other line; and sometimes she may just surprise you with her recently acquired skill –“ home cooking.” Choose finishing a beertower in one sitting, well almost, while sharing a view of the picturesque bay. Choose having to deal with his lame one-liners. Choose his incapability to stop staring at other girls wearing short-shorts and mini-skirts (his only kryptonite, still on therapy for that). Choose being slapped after for even trying to glance, she knows you f*cker even with those Oakley shades you sport all the time. Choose being stood-up for dates; dates you know you cancelled but she thinks you didn’t, so you’re still screwed for some reason, then prepare for hell later. Choose watching movie premieres and concerts together like the forgettable “Fall Out Boy and “Eheads 2” debacle (private dramedy here). Choose the most stunning model you ever saw amidst a sea of models you rub elbows in at work…hmmm rub! Choose the Penthouse. Choose the long taxicab rides. Choose skirting up. Choose sharing his affinity for cheese, cause he’s so gay, Princess, his peers christened him. At the end of it all – I till choose Jac and the drama that comes with her…for heavens sake where’s your manual girl?!
